Meet Our Managing Director
Andrea Paynter, Managing Director of Organisational Risk Consulting, brings over two decades of health and safety management expertise. Initially trained in food science, Andrea transitioned to law, serving as a Police Constable and later as an Associate Solicitor, specialising in personal injury law in Queensland. Her unique journey includes working as a factual investigator and in health and safety management roles within the private and public sectors, including as the National WHS Manager for a federally funded regulator.
Andrea’s desire to proactively reduce workplace personal injury led her to move into factual investigation and safety improvement, supported by further tertiary studies in health and safety and human resource management. Certified as an AIHS OHS Professional in 2015, she combines legal knowledge with hands-on experience to provide practical, compliant safety solutions for organisations.
In 2021, Andrea founded Brisbane-based Organisational Risk Consulting, dedicated to empowering businesses with the tools and knowledge to create safer work environments and ensure legal compliance. Her vision is to improve safety and well-being across all client organisations.

Organisational Risk Consulting operates from the eastern bayside suburbs of Brisbane, Queensland, and offers remote services across Australia and New Zealand, as well as onsite attendance in the Brisbane region. We use platforms like MS Teams and Zoom for remote site inspections, document sharing, and presentations, delivering detailed assessments and actionable recommendations.
Travel expenses apply for onsite services in the Brisbane region.
While, our remote services provide flexibility and cost savings by eliminating travel expenses and reducing operational downtime. Use our services to ensure safety compliance and operational efficiency, regardless of location.
Cost-Effective Fees
Organisational Risk Consulting delivers cost-effective consultancy services to meet your workplace health and safety needs with high-quality outcomes. Our fees are structured on a time and material (T&M) basis and are subject to GST. Upon request, we can provide a cost estimate, considering factors such as the scope and size of the work package deliverable.
For on-site attendance in South East Queensland, we charge travel-related costs as outlined in our project proposal document, regardless of the time spent on-site.
